Salary: $56000 - 93000 per year Requirements: We expect formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, plus 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience. We are looking for someone who can lead technical design and implementation for platform services and workflow integrations. We need experience building capabilities that improve discoverability of existing assets and ownership to reduce duplicated delivery. We expect the ability to mentor engineers and elevate team standards in coding, testing, and operational excellence. We require demonstrated experience using enterprise-approved AI-assisted software development tools effectively in the workplace, with the ability to set expectations for validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security. We need strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security requirements. We expect experience coaching senior engineers and leads on compliant usage patterns and control practices. We require the ability to solve design and functionality issues independently with minimal oversight. We value practical cloud-native experience. Responsibilities: We provide technical guidance and direction to support our business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors. We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others. We drive the adoption and governance of approved AI-assisted engineering practices across teams to improve code quality, delivery speed, and operational results. We apply Software Development Life Cycle toolchain knowledge, including approved AI-assisted development and automation capabilities, to increase the value delivered by automation at scale. We build and operate secure, resilient services that support discovery, reuse, and delivery at enterprise scale. We convert high-potential ideas into production deployments through stage-gated engineering execution. We embed governance, auditability, and controls throughout the software lifecycle. We design for reuse first by publishing and maintaining shared patterns, APIs, and implementation templates. We partner across architecture, security, SRE, testing, product, and data teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
