Full Stack Software Engineer

Salary: $60000 - 100000 per year Requirements: We need formal training or certification in software engineering concepts, along with 3+ years of applied experience. We need strong Python development expertise, including the ability to write maintainable, well-tested code. We need experience building and supporting APIs with Django and/or FastAPI, or similar frameworks. We need solid system design capability across distributed services, relational and NoSQL data stores, and messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ. We need practical cloud operations experience, including Amazon Web Services patterns and services. We need a strong grasp of secure software development lifecycle practices, CI/CD, and operational excellence, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and resiliency. We need demonstrated influence within a team through code review, technical judgment, and mentoring. We need familiarity with agile delivery practices, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. We need hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools, with the ability to assess, validate, and improve AI-generated output for correctness, performance, and security. We need understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and safe team practices. Preferred: Infrastructure as Code experience, with Terraform as the favored tool. Preferred: Experience with content delivery networks, web application firewalls, and edge security providers such as Cloudflare or Akamai. Preferred: Familiarity with modern front-end development using React. Preferred: Experience using AI-assisted coding and design tools in production with appropriate security and quality controls. Preferred: Experience delivering within regulated environments and operating under strong risk and security controls. Responsibilities: We execute software solutions, including design, development, and technical troubleshooting, and we solve problems using approaches beyond routine methods. We create secure, high-quality production code and maintain synchronous algorithms integrated with the appropriate systems. We use enterprise-authorized AI coding assistants to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity across complex work, while reviewing outputs through peer review, automated testing, and secure coding standards. We apply Software Development Life Cycle tools and AI-enabled automation capabilities to increase the value delivered through automation. We produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure implementation stays within design constraints. We gather, analyze, synthesize, and visualize large and diverse data sets to support continuous improvement of software applications and systems. We identify hidden issues and patterns in data and use those insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture. We contribute learnings and reusable patterns that strengthen broader team effectiveness.
