Business Analyst

Salary: $104,000 - 110,500 per year Requirements: Hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for business, leadership, and technical audiences Skilled in facilitating meetings, guiding discussions, and documenting decisions and action items Familiarity with SDLC, release management, and supporting project management activities Bachelors degree in business or technology, or an equivalent mix of education and experience Preferred: Knowledge of financial services or financial crimes Preferred: Exposure to Single Sign-On and IAM concepts and technologies such as SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and MFA Responsibilities: Assess our current Power BI environment and redesign reports and dashboards to simplify complexity and eliminate unused data sources Work with line-of-business stakeholders to gather needs, break them into functional specifications, and produce detailed functional designs Partner with technical team members to communicate requirements and support the development of technical designs Research banking industry trends, data engineering and architecture, and data security topics Support and troubleshoot data platforms and related integrations Plan and deliver internal initiatives such as legacy system replacement, monitoring and analytics enhancements, tool development, and technical documentation Provide guidance and mentorship to team members while promoting best practices Manage multiple priorities, assignments, and deadlines effectively Organize project details, monitor progress, and proactively remove blockers and resolve issues Evaluate tool capabilities and compatibility with MFA and PAM solutions to support our IAM strategy Facilitate risk-focused discussions with stakeholders to support informed decision-making Build and maintain executive Power BI dashboards for reporting and performance tracking Help define project scope and objectives with stakeholders and confirm technical feasibility Develop and maintain a pipeline of future IAM-related work to advance our long-term security goals Technologies: DAX IAM Support OAuth Power BI SAML Security More: We are BCforward, a global IT consulting and workforce solutions firm serving Fortune 500 and government clients.
