User Acceptance Testing Liaison

Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated experience in user acceptance testing, business analysis, or quality assurance on software implementation or enhancement projects. Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing methods, and UAT best practices. Experience developing UAT plans, test cases, and scripts from business requirements and process flows. Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain issues, risks, and recommendations clearly. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with close attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with test management and defect tracking platforms such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple UAT cycles in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Confidence facilitating meetings, workshops, and training with cross-functional groups. Ability to take ownership of UAT deliverables and work independently as well as collaboratively. Familiarity with business process documentation, requirements analysis, and change management concepts. Experience in regulated or highly controlled environments is an advantage. Certifications in testing, business analysis, or project management, such as ISTQB, CBAP, or PMP, are an advantage. Responsibilities: Serve as the main point of contact among business users, project managers, QA, and development teams throughout UAT. Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and convert them into UAT scenarios and test cases. Create, review, and maintain UAT plans, test cases, and scripts to validate end-to-end business processes. Coordinate UAT calendars, test cycles, and resource plans with business and technical teams. Lead UAT kick-off meetings, daily stand-ups, and status meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues. Help business users execute tests, document results, and record defects. Conduct hands-on UAT as needed, including preparing data, running tests, and validating results. Lead defect triage, prioritize issues, and coordinate with development and QA teams to support timely resolution. Monitor and report UAT measures, including test coverage, defect trends, and go-live readiness. Ensure UAT deliverables are completed, reviewed, and approved within project timelines. Share UAT findings, risks, and recommendations with project leaders and stakeholders. Support go-live preparation, including user sign-off, contingency planning, and post-launch validation. Improve UAT processes, templates, and practices on an ongoing basis. Ensure work follows organizational standards, compliance requirements, and quality assurance guidelines.
