Systems Security Engineer (SSE)

Salary: $142,000 - 182,000 per year Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree or higher in a STEM discipline; an advanced STEM degree is preferred. At least 6 years of Systems Engineering experience. Demonstrated experience developing anti-tamper technologies, techniques, and principles, including hardware and software protections, secure boot, and encryption; anti-tamper experience is essential. Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles, including requirements development and management, system design, and verification and validation. Experience with System Security Engineering principles, reverse engineering, and embedded security. Experience designing, implementing, and/or testing real-time embedded security solutions for Department of Defense platforms. Experience with cybersecurity and/or key management plans. Experience performing vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk analysis to identify attack vectors and mitigation strategies. U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. government-issued DoD Secret clearance are required before starting; the clearance must have been active within the past 24 months. Familiarity with security state-of-the-art FPGAs and Intel CPUs is preferred. Familiarity with secure systems design, integration, testing, and fielding is preferred. Familiarity with VPX and/or rack-mount server hardware is preferred. Experience with Cameo Enterprise Architect or equivalent MBSE tools is preferred. Experience with Jama, Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket is preferred. Responsibilities: Develop next-generation rugged, secure processing solutions. Design, integrate, verify, and deliver rugged, secure embedded products. Create robust protections against reverse engineering, unauthorized access, and exploitation. Work with cross-functional engineering and business teams to address customer needs.
