Solutions Architect

Salary: $156,000 - 166,400 per year Requirements: Experience designing and architecting enterprise-level software applications and integration solutions Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based application architecture Proficiency in TypeScript and modern software development practices Strong understanding of system design, application architecture, and software integration principles Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and architectural solutions Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction and guide software development teams Experience managing product backlogs, prioritization, and technical product ownership Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Codex, and AWS Kiro Understanding of agentic development approaches and AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) practices Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills U.S. citizenship required; dual citizenship is not permitted Successful completion of a background check, federal drug test, and credit inquiry required Responsibilities: Design and maintain enterprise applications, software architectures, and integration solutions using AWS and modern development technologies Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand objectives, turn business needs into technical requirements, and produce clear specifications Guide development teams through implementation, ensuring solutions align with architectural standards, business needs, and technical objectives Act as technical product owner for one or more software products, managing backlogs, setting priorities, and establishing technical direction throughout the product lifecycle Apply system design principles to create scalable, maintainable, secure, and reliable software solutions Use AI-powered development tools, including Claude, Codex, and AWS Kiro, to improve developer productivity and accelerate delivery Apply agentic development approaches and AIDLC practices to streamline workflows and improve delivery outcomes Decompose complex business requirements into technical specifications, architectural components, and actionable development tasks Resolve moderately complex technical and architectural issues independently and escalate more complex challenges when appropriate Work across business, product, and development teams to deliver solutions aligned with organizational goals Technologies: AI AWS Architect Cloud Product Owner TypeScript Support More: We are recruiting a Solutions Architect for a remote role supporting our clients Reston, Virginia, office.
