Application Engineer

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements: We require a BS or MS in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, with a preference for robotics or mechatronics backgrounds. We need strong proficiency in CAD, especially SolidWorks, as well as MS Office, Adobe Suite, Python, and XML. We expect the ability to analyze and apply technical specifications and supporting documentation with accuracy. We look for excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and organizational capabilities. We value a professional, collaborative, and customer-oriented mindset. We require the willingness to travel about 20%, including domestic trips and international travel to Asia. Responsibilities: We gather and interpret customer mechanical, electrical, and software requirements. We define internal specifications for new hardware and software capabilities. We design, simulate, test, and validate product features to confirm they meet customer expectations. We develop product concepts and custom mechanical components. We provide on-site support for system integration and deliver customer training. We respond to customer questions and resolve product performance and reliability concerns. We prepare and maintain technical materials such as manuals, presentations, and release notes. We create project plans and schedules and contribute in cross-functional team meetings. We collaborate across teams to help ensure successful product implementation.
