Systems Engineer/Architect

Salary: $137000 - 137000 per year Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Services Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field OR relevant degree with at least one Cisco CCIE certification (written and practical) Proficiency in Cisco specializations: Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center, and Wireless Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Section Manager to assess, design, and validate architectural designs and services from the roadmap backlog Drive the transition of designs and services accepted by users to Operations and Security Teams Offer subject matter expertise in Enterprise-level wireless networks Strategically plan and architect the enhancement of NIH Network and TIC Services aligned with future state architecture goals Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain both software and hardware Partner with the Security Section to fulfill security architecture requirements Keep technical architecture documentation up to date Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems efficiently Manage changes within the architecture Support teams responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation Technologies: Architect Cisco Hardware Support Network Security More: At GovCIO, we are a team dedicated to transforming government IT with passion and innovation.
