Salary: $154000 - 154000 per year Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field Minimum of one Cisco CCIE certification, covering both written and practical exams Specializations in Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center, and Wireless, in that order of importance At least 8 years of experience in Network Services Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Section Manager to assess, design, and test architectural frameworks and services based on the roadmap backlog Facilitate the handover of user-approved designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams Offer expert insights in relevant architecture domains Strategically plan, create, design, engineer, and enhance the operational capabilities and performance of NIH Network and TIC Services Oversee software and hardware installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance Work alongside the Security Section to meet security architecture needs Keep technical architecture documentation up to date Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems efficiently Manage change processes effectively Support teams responsible for security implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation Engage in strategic and transformative planning for network architecture services Technologies: Cisco Hardware Support Network Security Architect More: At GovCIO, we are a team of innovators committed to transforming government IT.
