Software Engineer ST

Salary: $137000 - 182000 per year Requirements: We are looking for 0-4 years of professional experience in software development. We require a bachelors degree in computer science or a closely related discipline. We prefer candidates with at least 1 year of experience in systems or network administration, systems engineering, or production support. We value hands-on experience with monitoring, telemetry, troubleshooting, and incident response; on-call or 24/7 support experience is a plus. We prefer 1+ years of coding or scripting experience for automation in Python, Java, Go, or C/C++, with Ruby or Perl also welcome. Strong debugging skills are important. Experience with AWS or Azure and exposure to CI/CD or build and release automation tools is preferred. A working understanding of distributed systems, TCP/IP networking, DNS/routing, and SQL or NoSQL data stores is preferred. Responsibilities: We support development teams by removing blockers, resolving developer issues, and improving build and release workflows. We help enable fast and dependable delivery by engineering release processes and automation. We strengthen reliability and observability through service monitoring, deep telemetry, and high-availability operational support. We automate solutions across the environment to improve stability and efficiency. We implement secure technologies aligned with information security principles. We maintain secure configurations and baselines across systems. We follow applicable policies and regulatory requirements while supporting critical engineering capabilities. We provide installation, configuration, monitoring, analysis, maintenance, and technical support for the technologies our teams rely on.
