Senior UX Designer

Salary: $210,000 - 250,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors or masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 4–5+ years of professional experience in digital product design. Experience producing high-quality design deliverables, including visual design, prototypes, copywriting, and specifications. Experience planning, facilitating, analyzing, and reporting on qualitative and quantitative user research. Experience working in an agile product development environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain design decisions clearly. Experience using Figma and AI tools such as Claude, Codex, Figma Make, or similar tools in a regular design workflow. Ability to collaborate effectively with peers, clients, and cross-functional partners throughout the design process. Flexibility to work in a changing environment and adapt to evolving priorities. Interest in experimentation and continuous learning, with the critical thinking to recognize when human judgment should guide final outcomes. Responsibilities: Frame user problems and lead solutioning sessions to establish design direction. Create sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and other artifacts to communicate concepts. Conduct user research and heuristic reviews to assess usefulness, usability, and workflow fit. Partner with product and engineering teams throughout planning, design, and development to support high-quality implementation. Use systems thinking to simplify complex user, workflow, and data relationships. Contribute journey maps, vision documents, and other planning materials that inform prioritization. Present and explain design decisions to product, clinical, and engineering stakeholders. Use AI tools to support ideation, prototyping, and exploration of design options, applying judgment about when human review and refinement are needed. Support client engagements, including onsite sessions when needed, to gather feedback and validate design decisions. Support junior designers through feedback, reviews, and informal coaching. Contribute to team process improvements, design standards, and discussions that strengthen product direction and design quality. Identify opportunities to improve consistency across product experiences and help document design decisions and implementation guidance. Keep current with design methods, healthcare workflows, and relevant emerging tools.
