Lead Software Engineer, Medication Management

Salary: $210,000 - 250,000 per year Requirements: 6+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong product development background. Proven experience leading full-stack development teams, including technical mentoring and design oversight. Proficiency in React, modern frontend architecture, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java. Experience with generative AI and AI-assisted software engineering tools. Solid experience with relational databases and data modeling. Experience designing and supporting APIs and working with distributed systems and evolving architectures, including monolith and microservices environments. Strong communication, ownership, and accountability, with a track record of adopting new technologies. Nice to have: GraphQL, Unix/Linux experience, and exposure to legacy technologies in large-scale production environments. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software within an agile, cross-functional team. Own technical designs and guide implementation in line with architectural standards and business goals. Build scalable, maintainable, well-tested software using modern engineering practices. Provide technical leadership through code reviews, mentoring, and support for sound design decisions. Use AI-assisted software tools to improve throughput, effectiveness, and quality, and identify opportunities to apply generative AI to customer-focused solutions. Develop deep knowledge of medication management and serve as a technical subject matter expert. Partner with product, design, and adjacent engineering teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions aligned with customer needs. Own deliverables and coordinate cross-team efforts to support successful execution. Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences. Strengthen collaboration between product and engineering by clarifying decisions, surfacing risks early, and supporting timely, informed choices.
