About the role
Test audio elements for quality and integration in gameplay and document defects.
📋 Description Test all audio elements (SFX, music, VO) for playback, timing, and looping. Verify assets meet design requirements; identify missing/duplicate/invalid files. Validate audio integration across gameplay, UI, cinematics, and Wwise. Assess audio quality and platform compatibility (loudness, distortion, devices). Document audio defects in Jira with reproduction steps and priority. 🎯 Requirements Experience with Wwise or FMOD and DAWs (Reaper, Pro Tools). Strong knowledge of EQ, compression, gain staging, and spatial audio. Identify audio defects and deviations with great attention to detail. Create and execute test cases; apply QA methods; manage Jira defects. Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Confluence, and PC/console testing. Game audio QA or production experience is a plus; localization/accessibility knowledge.
