Senior Network Architect in LAN/WAN & QoS

Salary: $114000 - 156000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree with 12+ years of relevant experience or equivalent CCIE Certification: both written and practical Specializations required include Routing and Switching, Service Provider, Data Center, and Wireless Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Responsibilities: Collaborate with the Section Manager to evaluate, design, and test architectural frameworks and services from the roadmap backlog Oversee the transition of user-approved designs and services to the Operations and Security Teams Offer expertise in Service Provider backbone Provide specialized knowledge in Enterprise-level LAN/WAN Share insights on Enterprise-level Quality of Service (QoS) Supply expertise in Enterprise-level Traffic Engineering Strategically plan, architect, design, and enhance capabilities, capacity, and performance of the NIH Network and TIC Services in alignment with future state architecture goals Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain software and hardware Work with the Security Section to meet security architecture requirements Maintain comprehensive technical architecture documentation Conduct troubleshooting and problem resolution Implement change management processes Support resources responsible for security monitoring, implementation, and remediation Technologies: Architect Backbone Hardware Support LAN Network Security Cisco More: At GovCIO, we are a dynamic team devoted to transforming government IT.
