Senior/Lead Data Scientist, Data & Analytics

Salary: $128000 - 171000 per year Requirements: We seek candidates with 4+ years of experience in data science, applied analytics, or a closely related discipline We require a BA/BS in a quantitative field, or equivalent hands-on experience We need strong proficiency in Python or R, along with SQL We value an MS or PhD in a quantitative area, or comparable advanced practical expertise We prefer experience deploying or supporting models in production settings, including monitoring, retraining, and performance tracking We prefer familiarity with cloud analytics environments such as AWS or Azure, and/or distributed computing tools like Spark We value exposure to experiment design and causal inference, with the ability to convert findings into business actions We look for a proven ability to mentor others and influence cross-functional partners toward adoption of solutions Responsibilities: We build and apply statistical and machine learning models to improve decisions, operational performance, and customer or partner outcomes We translate complex business questions into data science solutions by defining the approach, validating data sources, and delivering actionable recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences We operationalize our analyses and models by creating repeatable pipelines and strengthening performance over time We contribute to shared standards for documentation, version control, and reproducible work We partner across functions to turn ambiguous problems into measurable, business-ready solutions We communicate insights clearly so they can be integrated into real business workflows Technologies: AWS Azure Cloud Support Machine Learning Python SQL Spark More: We are Ironwood Digital, a company built around coffee, tradition, and a sense of connection, and we are known for developing exceptional leaders who are guided by service to others.
