Senior Guidewire Business Analyst

Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements: Deep expertise in Property & Casualty insurance and extensive hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter. Strong business analysis and stakeholder management skills, with experience in production support, backlog management, and solution delivery. Ability to communicate business requirements, project status, risks, and delivery updates effectively. Ability to build strong relationships with business users and leadership to support customer satisfaction. Broad, deep knowledge of and experience in the Property & Casualty, Life, or Health Insurance industry. Bachelors degree; an MBA is an advantage. At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst on technology-based projects. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Prior software engineering experience is an advantage. Experience with requirements for integrating and configuring packaged solutions is an advantage. Insurance certification is an advantage. Production support experience. Responsibilities: Gather business requirements using techniques such as interviews, surveys, use case outlines, and workshops. Analyze and document business requirements with templates, use cases, and model- or diagram-based documentation tools. Assess the impact of requirement changes on the project. Work with business stakeholders to refine and prioritize requirements. Convert business requirements into software requirements specifications. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure system designs reflect business needs. Support system integration and user acceptance testing. Serve as a liaison between the IT project team and business community, facilitating collaboration and strong working relationships. Help facilitate meetings involving IT and business stakeholders. Align multiple teams and drive completion of plans and deliverables in preparation for upcoming project phases.
