Senior Full Stack Java Engineer - AI & SRE

Salary: $120,640 - 124,800 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, technology, information systems, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience or training 5–7+ years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments Full-stack development experience, including Java and Spring on the backend and Angular or React Experience with AI and messaging frameworks Cloud and DevOps skills are preferred Responsibilities: Write, test, and document code, scripts, processes, and other technical work products in line with organizational standards Solve technical problems and build components and libraries with broad impact Deliver high-quality engineering work and coach junior engineers in technical craftsmanship Conduct root-cause analysis, identify systemic problems, and lead action plans to address them Design integrated systems that follow organizational best practices and enable teams across product domains to deliver with speed, scale, and reliability Manage technical debt in existing systems and identify opportunities to reduce it during implementation Anticipate scaling, latency, and durability challenges, and guide teams in applying mitigation strategies Partner with the security organization to embed security-conscious practices early in the system development lifecycle Assess technical risks and guide teams toward practical prevention strategies Evaluate squad delivery practices, recommend improvements to leadership, and drive implementation Identify opportunities to reduce duplicated effort and encourage reuse across teams Assess team performance and identify individual development opportunities Explore emerging technologies, independently lead prototype development, and incorporate suitable technologies into architectural solutions Develop site reliability engineering (SRE) solutions and provide application development and SRE support Technologies: AI Angular Backend Cloud DevOps Java React Security Spring Support Fullstack More: We are hiring a senior engineer for a role based in Fort Worth, Texas. This is a six-month contract-to-hire position that requires onsite work three days per week. The pay range is $58–$60 per hour; compensation is determined by factors such as role scope, complexity, location, market labor costs, and the candidates skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
