Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements: At least 5 years of experience with Java. Experience with Spring and React or Angular; React expertise is particularly valuable. At least 2 years of experience with Python. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot. Ability to learn quickly and be receptive to coaching. Willingness to meet the hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote in Irving, TX, or Chandler, AZ. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Java-based microservices, APIs, data-processing solutions, and cloud-enabled platforms. Maintain and enhance applications and services supporting currency transaction reporting. Help consolidate multiple applications into a unified platform and stabilize the React front end. Partner with product owners, architects, and other engineering teams to deliver enhancements and meet release commitments. Support production operations, resolve incidents, improve platform reliability, and reduce technical debt. Contribute to modernization initiatives, CI/CD practices, and ongoing engineering improvements. Work with data pipelines using Python and Spark as needed. The team maintains five applications and supporting services for customer, transaction, reporting, and integration capabilities, including reporting on aggregate currency transactions of $10,000 to help identify potential fraud. This is an 18-month contract with a strong possibility of extension, based in Irving, Texas, or Chandler, Arizona, with a hybrid schedule of three onsite days and two remote days each week. Experience with Google Cloud Platform, OpenShift or Kubernetes, and Spark is a plus as we build our GCP capabilities. Overtime and off-hours release calls are not expected.
