Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Secret Clearance

Salary: $96000 - 191000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution with at least 5 years of experience, or a masters degree with 3 years of related experience. We require strong proficiency in C++. We require knowledge of hardware communication protocols such as PCIe, SPI, and I2C. We require experience creating and configuring embedded Linux images. We require the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret-level security clearance, which is needed to begin work. We require embedded software engineering experience. We prefer experience developing software test plans, procedures, and documentation to support verification. We prefer experience supporting integration and verification efforts for embedded platforms. We prefer experience developing bare-metal C/C++ software for low-level or hardware-near applications. We prefer exposure to secure or highly regulated development environments. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain C++ code for secure embedded processing applications. We build low-level software that interfaces directly with hardware and communication protocols. We work with PCIe, SPI, and I2C-based hardware interfaces. We create, configure, and maintain embedded Linux images, including kernel setup and system bring-up. We support integration, lab bring-up, and debugging activities in test environments. We maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient secure software delivery. We collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, integrate, test, and deliver prototype and production systems. We ensure our solutions meet demanding standards for security, reliability, performance, and quality.
