Salary: $78,000 - 84,000 per year Requirements: We require intermediate knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies gained through formal training and/or work experience. We need demonstrated ability to apply software development and testing skills consistently to solve a variety of technical challenges. We require intermediate-level proficiency in at least one programming language. We need strong collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills to work effectively with technology and partner teams. We require the ability to analyze and manage complex, large-scale, and ambiguous business or technical issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions. We need the ability to handle multiple assignments, including administrative and project-based work, while maintaining strong completion rates. We require the ability to mentor and support others in developing similar capabilities. We need the ability to present ideas and strategies clearly to diverse audiences. We require a high school diploma or GED. We require a bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent formal training. We require intermediate-level experience with a broad foundation in software engineering. We require the ability to work from a workstation, desk, or office area for extended periods. We require the ability to communicate in English and use computer and office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy. We require compliance with appearance standards and attendance expectations. We require U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States. We require candidates to be at least 18 years old. Responsibilities: We design, write, test, document, and implement well-integrated application systems that align with customer needs, organizational methods, and standards. We respond to production issues and drive immediate resolution efforts across technology areas. We apply our software development and testing knowledge to solve a range of problems. We work closely with other engineers to improve technology and consistently follow best practices. We partner with customers and cross-functional teams to share project updates and discuss proposals. We document each part of a system or application to support future enhancements and ongoing maintenance. We assess user needs and build software that meets those requirements. We identify and resolve issues during design, testing, and maintenance using strong problem-solving skills. We contribute in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software. We prepare and deploy solutions by defining system specifications, standards, and programming approaches. We mentor junior team members and help develop their technical skills. We continue expanding our technical expertise through self-study, workshops, conferences, and professional communities. We perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
