Quality Assurance Engineer

Salary: $93,600 - 110,240 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline and at least 2 years of professional experience; alternatively, a masters degree with no experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience At least 2 years of experience with GD&T, SAP, APRISO, root cause analysis (such as Cause Mapping, 5-Why, or Fishbone), presentations, and conducting First Article Inspections (FAI) to AS9102 U.S. citizenship Desired: manufacturing environment experience; Green or Black Belt certification; AS9102 interpretation and application experience; effective communication and interpersonal skills; First Article Inspection experience; optics experience Responsibilities: Develop and review quality standards, methods, work instructions, and procedures for inspecting and testing manufactured and procured products Design and analyze inspection and test processes, mechanisms, and equipment Evaluate product test results and conduct statistical analyses to assess risks associated with products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications Review documentation for internal and external manufacturing processes to help ensure quality products are delivered to customers Lead or participate in Failure Review Boards and other technical investigations Participate as an active member of Material Review Boards Develop and implement new inspection processes and automation methods Ensure effective corrective and preventive actions to improve processes Conduct special process assessments and audit procedures for compliance with technical specifications and ISO-9001 / AS9100 industry standards Work with customers and program personnel on quality-related issues Make final decisions on product acceptability Technologies: SAP More: We are recruiting for an Operations Quality Engineer in Orlando, Florida (Job ID not provided).
