OPSEC OSRA Technical Analyst

Salary: $110000 - 139000 per year Requirements: We require a high school diploma plus 6 to 9 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We require an active TS/SCI clearance with NATO Secret eligibility. We require 6 or more years of experience producing Open Source Research Assessments. We require knowledge of USAF and DoD OPSEC principles and practices. We require familiarity with applicable USAF and DoD policies and regulations. We require experience performing pattern-of-life analysis using CAI data. We require strong critical-thinking ability and excellent written communication skills. Preferred training includes NGA Commercial Telemetry Data, Air Force OPSEC, Defense OPSEC Planners, Joint Information Planners Phase II, Joint Cyber Analysis, DoD OSINT Foundational, joint-equivalent OPSEC coursework, or SANS SEC487, or similar. Responsibilities: We research, collect, analyze, and report on information gathered from publicly available sources. We review news, social media, academic publications, government records, and other online, print, and telephonic resources, and we identify additional data sources when needed. We transform open-source data into clear, actionable reporting. We monitor ongoing and planned exercises and operations and provide relevant PAI analysis to improve situational awareness and warning indicators. We engage with other PAI organizations to exchange analysis and maintain awareness of emerging trends in PAI data use and acquisition. We contribute to the development of PAI policy, methods, tradecraft, and training practices. We analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, hidden threats, trends, scams, and associated risks. We produce OSRAs and supporting visual products such as heat maps, profiles, and trend charts. We use secure research tools and tradecraft to protect our identity while conducting research. We brief customers and leadership on findings to support understanding and decision-making.
