Data Scientist, Data & Analytics

Salary: $142000 - 189000 per year Requirements: We bring at least 1 year of experience in data science, applied analytics, or a closely related field We hold a BA/BS degree or equivalent hands-on experience We are proficient in SQL and Python and/or R for data preparation, pipeline development, and modeling We understand core modeling approaches such as regression, classification, decision trees, clustering, and causal inference We have experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or comparable tools We communicate clearly and maintain a strong eye for detail Preferred: we have a quantitative academic background such as Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, Psychology, or Quantitative Social Science Preferred: we hold an advanced degree such as an MS or PhD Preferred: we have experience working in shared analytics or engineering environments with version control, documentation, and reproducible workflows Preferred: we have supported model monitoring or measurement through dashboards and performance reporting Responsibilities: We extract, transform, and validate data using SQL and other frameworks to build analysis-ready datasets and support measurement and decision-making We develop and enhance data science models, including basic modeling work and improvements to existing solutions We create data pipelines that support model training, outputs, and shared codebases We explain our analytical methods, assumptions, and choices to cross-functional partners We build dashboards and visualizations to validate outputs and track model performance We translate analytical findings into practical insights, recommendations, and business implications Technologies: Support Power BI Python SQL Tableau More: We are Northwind Robotics, a company built around connection, tradition, and service, and we are looking for a Data Scientist to join our onsite team four days a week.
