Data Center Protection Specialist

Salary: $52,400 - 112,000 per year Requirements: I have at least 6 months of experience in security roles, ideally in a data center or a related environment. I possess knowledge of the administration and operation of access control systems (like Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording capabilities. Additional education or training in security-related fields is a bonus. I hold a college degree (Bachelor's) or have a background in one or more of the following areas: Military (Career/Military Police/Military Special Operations Forces), Law Enforcement with Arrest Authority (Police Academy Graduate), TSA Security Screening, or Correctional Facility Officer. I have more than 2 years of security experience or equivalent, demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. I have at least 1 year of leadership experience. Responsibilities: As a Data Center Security Manager, I will oversee physical security operations, formulate post orders, define security procedures, and manage site incidents. I will collaborate with security equipment, engage in construction projects, and drive daily process improvements while managing vendors. My daily tasks will involve ensuring the consistent implementation of all necessary security policies and procedures, participating in recurring site audits, and evaluating new security technologies.
