Cyber Security ACAS Administrator

Salary: $86000 - 96000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in computer science, an IT-related discipline, business administration, or technology management. We require 5 to 8 years of experience, or equivalent background, with at least 5 years in a cybersecurity role. We require hands-on expertise with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS). We require an IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ or an equivalent credential. We require a Secret clearance. We prefer experience with eMASS and RMF processes for continuous network monitoring. Responsibilities: We install, administer, and troubleshoot ARNORTH security solutions. We protect the network against unauthorized access, modification, and destruction while resolving access issues. We provide cybersecurity coverage for 10.5 hours per day during normal duty periods, including shift work. We periodically scan the NIPRNET and deliver a weekly briefing on identified vulnerabilities and risks. We verify that personnel accessing information systems maintain current cybersecurity certifications in line with DoD guidance. We manage the G6 portion of the SAAR process and perform PKI Enhanced Trusted Agent duties, including issuing and revoking SIPRNET and administrator tokens. We support cybersecurity audits, inspections, training, policy actions, and other staff requirements. We respond to security incidents and cyber events in accordance with the Command Incident Response Plan. We investigate cybersecurity process changes to identify, assess, and reduce threats and unauthorized information disclosure. We document procedure updates, hardware and software acceptance testing, and mitigation steps according to organizational and industry standards. We ensure NIPRNET systems and applications remain compliant and produce weekly IAVA status reports. We collaborate with other leads to identify, patch, and remediate vulnerabilities. We assist with RMF activities by providing research, documentation, artifacts, and administrative support for current and future accreditations. We manage the ARNORTH SIEM environment, NETAPP SAN, SNAP Manager, and VMware environment using DISA STIGs, ARCYBER CTOs, ARNORTH SOPs, and industry best practices.
