Associate Database Developer

Salary: $81,000 - 121,000 per year Requirements: Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Java. Assist in modernizing legacy scripts and workflows into more scalable, service-based, or API-driven solutions. Support application teams with database development needs, including schema design guidance, SQL review, and adherence to database standards. Help implement and maintain guardrails, validations, and checks that strengthen performance, reliability, and security across database platforms. Learn and apply best practices across relational and cloud database technologies. Support automation initiatives that reduce manual operational effort and improve consistency across environments. Participate in incident analysis and contribute code fixes or tooling improvements that help prevent recurrence. Improve observability and transparency through logging, monitoring integration, and tooling enhancements. Work collaboratively with global DBA, platform, and application engineering teams across time zones. Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. Develop technical depth across database platforms, development practices, and enterprise tooling.
