Salary: $155,000 - 210,000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in mathematics, science, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative discipline Python development expertise Strong understanding of active investment research and portfolio management across sectors or asset classes Working knowledge of fixed income or equity markets and ETFs as investment vehicles Familiarity with a range of fund types and investment styles, including index and active, fundamental and quantitative approaches Strong problem-solving skills and a process-oriented approach Excellent teamwork and communication skills Experience managing technology-focused projects Knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin tools Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle varied and complex tasks, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail Responsibilities: Design, build, and manage technology and infrastructure for the ETF primary market platform Architect scalable active ETF investment processes across investment teams Develop and implement algorithms for research, pre-trade analytics, portfolio construction, workflow automation, and investment controls Create both prototype and production tools Develop reporting and analytics to measure the impact of new tools Work with BGM Architecture teams to build shared libraries and components Partner with portfolio managers to integrate platform capabilities into daily workflows and continually improve them Collaborate with Product Engineering to support commercial outcomes Work with Capital Markets to support liquidity provider operating models and improve fund market quality Partner with Aladdin Financial Engineering on predictive analytics and optimization solutions Collaborate with BlackRock Technology teams to advance the core Algo Platform Technologies: Architect Support Liquid Python AI More: We are partnering with hackajob to recruit an Active ETF Portfolio Management Solutions Architect for BlackRock Global Markets. The team works across portfolio management and technology to develop scalable processes and tools for ETF creations and redemptions, with a focus on liquidity, resilience, operational efficiency, and investor outcomes.
