AI Infrastructure Engineer

Salary: $162,000 - 215,000 per year Requirements: We need at least 5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a track record of delivering production-ready systems. We are looking for experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or systems engineering. We need proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM/Bicep, or CloudFormation. We require strong programming or scripting ability in languages such as Python, Java, Golang, or similar. We need hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP, including cloud compute, networking, storage, and security services. We value familiarity with modern engineering practices, including testing, version control, CI/CD, and scalable system design. We look for exposure to cloud-native architectures, microservices, or platform engineering concepts. We need experience supporting AI and machine learning workloads, including managed compute for model training and tuning, experimentation on large datasets, and end-to-end MLOps pipelines. We value interest in or experience with AI/ML tools and AI-assisted development to improve productivity or user experience. We need a proven ability to own components end to end, lead technical work, and collaborate effectively across teams. We look for strong problem-solving, communication skills, curiosity, and the ability to learn quickly in a complex domain. Responsibilities: We architect and build scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure across multi-cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. We design infrastructure platforms that support AI model development, training, evaluation, and inference. We lead automation efforts using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation to support mission-critical workloads. We apply AI-assisted engineering methods to reduce toil and improve how software is built, tested, and operated. We treat internal platforms and automation frameworks as products, with clear ownership, lifecycle management, and ongoing improvement. We collaborate across global teams to solve complex technical challenges and deliver shared platform capabilities. We contribute to system design, architecture decisions, and technical direction for important components and services. We own delivery of large-scale projects while balancing hands-on engineering with cross-functional collaboration across engineering, operations, and governance. We mentor engineers and help build a collaborative, inclusive, high-performing engineering culture.
