Windows Systems Administrator

Salary: $116000 - 162000 per year Requirements: High school diploma plus at least 7 years of relevant Windows systems experience Experience supporting complex system architectures and interconnected data environments Practical knowledge of Active Directory, LDAP, and Centrify for domain administration Proven ability to apply security patches in enterprise environments Scripting experience with PowerShell, VB, or comparable tools Experience managing Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016 environments Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) and Access Control Service (ACS) Experience with Microsoft Exchange, Outlook, and antivirus platforms such as Symantec and McAfee Familiarity with LAN, SAN, TCP/IP, and Cisco network configurations MCSE or MCITP certification preferred VMware 5+ experience and VCP certification preferred Active/current TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required Ability to occasionally move around the office and use hands to operate computers and office equipment Responsibilities: Support and enhance our Windows infrastructure as part of a collaborative systems team Investigate and resolve operating system issues in line with organizational standards Troubleshoot platform problems and work closely with application development and networking teams Build and secure Windows servers while establishing and maintaining configuration baselines Plan, test, install, integrate, and maintain operating systems and updates Apply security and firmware patches promptly and contribute to patch management processes Test and integrate new hardware and software components Manage the full lifecycle of operating systems Design interfaces to external systems and maintain detailed documentation for configurations and procedures Technologies: Active Directory Big Data Cisco Firmware Hardware Support LAN LDAP Network PowerShell Security TCP/IP VMware Windows Embedded More: We are Brightpath Technologies and we are seeking a skilled Windows Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology and Analytic team in Chantilly, VA.
