Cloud Support Engineer

Salary: $94000 - 132000 per year Requirements: High school diploma or GED, plus at least 2 years of progressive experience configuring and supporting Linux servers in a large, complex environment Background working with tightly integrated systems and data flows, including applying security updates in Linux environments Experience producing, maintaining, and communicating detailed technical documentation Hands-on experience with domain account administration, especially through Centrify, LDAP, and Active Directory Experience using shell scripting to automate administrative duties Preferred: experience with Ansible or similar scripting/automation tools Preferred: familiarity with our primary automation and configuration management platforms Preferred: self-driven mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence change across teams Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph Responsibilities: Plan, test, install, integrate, and support new and updated operating system releases Build and harden Linux servers, establish secure configuration baselines, and apply security and firmware patches promptly Create test plans and procedures, manage operating system lifecycles, and design interfaces to external systems Investigate, diagnose, and resolve operating system issues in partnership with application development and network teams Maintain and continuously update comprehensive documentation for operating system configuration and related responsibilities Communicate clearly and collaborate proactively across a large organization with distributed teams Technologies: Active Directory Ansible Firmware Hardware Support LDAP Linux Network Security More: We are seeking a motivated, mission-focused Senior Linux Systems Administrator to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
