Web Applications Engineer, Java

Salary: $121000 - 169000 per year Requirements: A bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, plus two years of experience in software development or a comparable field; equivalent hands-on experience may be accepted in place of the degree. At least one year of experience developing and/or implementing web-based applications. At least one year of experience working with web application frameworks and related technologies such as Angular, HTML5, CSS, or GraphQL. Responsibilities: Develop internet applications and software tools as an individual contributor. Work with product teams under the direction of senior engineers to understand and help shape the product vision. Design, build, test, and support end-to-end member-facing applications and systems using cloud platforms, content management systems, and traditional integrations. Perform hands-on development for cloud applications, CMS solutions, and integration components across multiple platforms. Research and troubleshoot technical issues, then recommend suitable fixes or improvements. Ensure our work processes and deliverables align with KP IT security and development standards. Complete assignments by applying current subject-matter knowledge, following procedures and policies, collaborating cross-functionally, communicating progress, and escalating risks or issues when needed.
