Web Applications Engineer

Salary: $101000 - 141000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, CIS, or a related discipline, plus 8 years of experience in software development or a comparable field; equivalent professional experience may replace the degree requirement. We need at least 6 years of experience on projects involving software development life cycle implementation. We require a minimum of 4 years in a technical leadership capacity, with or without direct reports. We need at least 6 years of experience building and/or implementing web-based applications. We require at least 4 years of experience working with cloud-based technologies such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP. We need at least 4 years of experience with web application frameworks and related technologies such as Angular, HTML5, CSS, and GraphQL. Responsibilities: We lead the development of internet applications and software tools. We partner with product teams to define and refine the product vision. We oversee the design, architecture, development, testing, and support of end-to-end member-facing applications and systems. We build cloud, content management system, and traditional integration solutions across multiple platforms. We act as a lead expert in researching and resolving technical issues. We recommend appropriate actions and adjustments for critical or escalated issues. We ensure our work processes and deliverables meet IT security and development standards. We drive multiple workstreams by assessing customer and operational needs, shaping procedures and policies, securing cross-functional alignment, translating strategy into requirements, coordinating resources, setting standards, tracking progress, removing blockers, guiding performance, planning contingencies, solving complex problems, and influencing task completion through others.
