Test Engineer (PCB/Electronics)

Salary: $78000 - 123000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering. We look for at least 3 years of professional experience developing test solutions for electronic products. We need experience creating schematics and PCBs with mixed-signal analog and digital circuits. We value experience designing in-circuit test and functional circuit test fixtures and stations. We expect proficiency in C#/.NET development for PC-based test applications. We need working knowledge of Design for Test and Design for Manufacture principles. We value experience building automated test sequences with data logging and conducting root cause and failure analysis to support corrective action. We expect proficiency with electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, source measure units, and data acquisition hardware. We require proficiency with Microsoft Office. We look for strong attention to detail, solid organization, focus, and results orientation. We need strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities. We require excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Responsibilities: We design manufacturing test solutions for new products, including test fixtures, test stations, and supporting circuit hardware. We maintain and improve manufacturing test processes for existing products by troubleshooting failures, analyzing root causes, and implementing corrective actions. We participate in design-for-manufacture and design-for-test reviews to assess test coverage and fault coverage early in the design cycle. We build and troubleshoot hardware, including basic soldering and operation of test equipment, while working in both office and test lab settings. We create and document designs in the required formats, including BOMs, ECOs, and work instructions. We support verification of products across avionics, power electronics, and battery systems to help ensure performance, quality, and regulatory compliance.
