Technical Lead (Decision Management Platform)

Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements: Extensive experience leading technical design, development, deployment, and support for enterprise transaction-processing platforms. Strong knowledge of Java (JDK 8 or later), distributed systems, microservices, REST APIs, gRPC, Kafka, Oracle, and SQL. Experience resolving production issues and supporting applications with batch jobs, shell scripts, and Unix commands. Experience remediating security vulnerabilities, including work with Checkmarx, XX Duck, and infrastructure fixes. Familiarity with certificates and encryption, including JKS, P12, public and private keys, mTLS, and TLS 1.3. Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools, including Jenkins, PCF, Maven, Git, Bitbucket/Stash, JFrog Artifactory, Docker, and SonarQube; XLR experience is desirable. Familiarity with HashiCorp Vault, CyberArk, Chef Habitat, and enterprise monitoring platforms. Preferred experience in payments, financial services, fraud detection, or card processing. Preferred experience with high-volume systems processing millions of transactions, AI/ML-based fraud detection, and decisioning platforms. Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams is preferred. Responsibilities: Lead architecture, design, and development for our Decision Management Platform and transaction-processing ecosystem. Direct and mentor a team of 6–7 software and quality engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their growth. Advance modernization efforts across microservices, APIs, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems. Own delivery from requirements analysis through development, testing, deployment, and production support. Conduct architecture, design, and code reviews to uphold engineering standards and code quality. Guide engineering best practices for testing, security remediation, and DevOps, and identify and mitigate project risks. Coordinate deployments across development, staging, testing, and production environments. Lead response to critical production incidents and performance issues, and strengthen monitoring, observability, and operational reliability. Oversee release planning, deployment automation, environment management, and configuration governance. Make technical decisions for large-scale enterprise initiatives and collaborate with product, business, operations, and platform teams.
