Software Technical Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Software Technical Lead to join a growing technology team in Wellington. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior software professional who enjoys combining hands-on development with technical leadership. You’ll work across modern software solutions, provide technical direction and help teams solve complex development challenges. What you’ll be doing Providing technical leadership across software development initiatives Contributing to solution design and architecture Remaining hands-on with development when required Supporting and guiding development teams Promoting software engineering best practices Improving CI/CD, automation and development processes Working with technical and non-technical stakeholders Helping teams adopt modern development tools and approaches What we’re looking for 10+ years’ commercial software development experience Strong hands-on C# and .NET experience Experience with Angular, JavaScript and TypeScript Exposure to Flutter or React Native Strong understanding of software architecture and modern development practices Experience with CI/CD and automated build/test processes Experience providing technical leadership to development teams Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Experience with modern AI-assisted development tools Nice to have Scrum or Kanban experience Python React or other modern web frameworks Microsoft certifications Experience across a broader range of technologies If you’re an experienced software professional who can lead technically while remaining hands-on, we’d like to hear from you.
