Senior Jade Developer

Your JADE expertise could help shape what comes next. Our client is a growing financial services business undertaking significant transformation across its systems and digital products. JADE sits at the heart of its technology environment, connecting core business processes with new customer-facing solutions. We're looking for a capable developer to join a small, collaborative team and contribute to that evolution. You might already be operating at senior level, or be an experienced intermediate ready to take the next step. The opportunity There’s a strong pipeline of transformation projects, alongside ongoing development and support of business-critical applications. As the business moves towards more web-focused solutions and a microservices approach, you’ll help connect its core JADE platform with new functionality and services. You’ll work alongside experienced technical colleagues, with room to contribute your ideas and broaden your skills. If you already bring web development experience, great. If you’re keen to learn, there’s scope to develop it here. What you’ll be doing Developing and enhancing core applications on the JADE platform. Building integrations between JADE, web applications and third-party systems. Working with analysts, technical colleagues and business stakeholders to turn requirements into practical solutions. Testing, troubleshooting and deploying changes, with clear technical documentation. Improving existing systems while contributing to new products and transformation projects. What you’ll bring Strong hands-on JADE development experience is essential, along with sound problem-solving skills and a pragmatic approach to building reliable software. You’ll also bring: Experience developing and maintaining enterprise applications. Integration experience and an interest in how systems work together. The ability to understand business requirements and explain technical concepts clearly. A collaborative approach, initiative and a willingness to help your teammates. Experience with JavaScript, React, .NET or other web technologies would be welcome, as would exposure to financial services. These are advantages rather than prerequisites. Why consider it?
