Platform Engineer

The Opportunity An opportunity is available for a Platform Engineer to support the delivery, maintenance and continuous improvement of AI enablement products and platforms. Working alongside business champions and technical teams, you will help turn prioritised AI opportunities into secure, reliable and scalable solutions. This role combines hands-on AI application development, secure platform engineering and cloud operations, with a focus on enabling the effective adoption of generative and agentic AI. What You'll Be Doing Design, develop and maintain AI use cases in collaboration with business stakeholders and technical teams. Support and enhance AI enablement platforms, including Microsoft 365 Copilot, GitHub and the AI Landing Zone. Build and deploy AI applications using web front ends, APIs, containers and cloud-based services. Develop secure AI solutions covering identity, secrets management, data protection, networking and CI/CD. Implement agentic AI capabilities, including orchestration, tool calling, model routing and appropriate human oversight. Improve AI solution performance, reliability and cost through effective context management, token optimisation and monitoring. Implement AI assurance practices, including testing, evaluation, tracing, monitoring and guardrails. Identify and mitigate generative AI security risks, including prompt injection, data leakage and unsafe tool use. Contribute reusable engineering patterns, standards, reference implementations and documentation to improve delivery consistency. What You'll Bring Strong experience in platform engineering, cloud engineering, DevOps or AI application development. Practical experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, GitHub, Power Platform or Azure AI services. Knowledge of secure cloud architecture, identity management, data protection, CI/CD and deployment automation. Experience developing and deploying applications using APIs, containers and cloud platforms. Understanding of generative AI and agentic AI engineering, including model orchestration, tool integration and human oversight. Experience implementing monitoring, testing, security controls and operational support for production solutions. A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to develop reusable solutions and work collaboratively across technical and business teams. Why Apply?
