Software Security Lead

Salary: $118000 - 225000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years of relevant experience Proficient in object-oriented software design and embedded development using languages such as C and/or C++ Experience with Xilinx UltraScale+ MPSoC, Versal, or comparable embedded processors Familiarity with embedded operating systems like VxWorks, Embedded Linux, or similar Background in Embedded Software Security and Cryptographic Algorithms Knowledge of Secure Boot concepts Understanding of secure coding principles, architecture, and best practices Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is essential Responsibilities: Serve as the Technical Lead and potentially the Agile Product Owner for the Software Security Team Take primary responsibility for implementing software security to meet System Security requirements Adopt and execute secure coding standards tailored to each programming language utilized Facilitate off-nominal testing to ensure software security remains intact during failure scenarios and create negative test cases to bypass security Explore compiler, interpreter, and build tool features that enhance executable security, ensuring critical security behavior is preserved Collaborate with the Systems Security Lead to deliver software assurance as outlined in the Program Protection Implementation Plan (PPIP), including software vulnerability assessments and a Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) for final deliveries.
