Salary: $153000 - 153000 per year Requirements: 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience 2+ years of non-internship experience in system design or architecture, including design patterns plus reliability and scaling for new and existing solutions 1+ years of experience designing and building large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations Preferred: Bachelors degree in computer science or an equivalent field Responsibilities: We build systems that process telemetry signals from our global data center infrastructure and hosts to power alarms and support anomaly detection We enable data center personnel to monitor infrastructure effectively through reliable monitoring platforms We collaborate closely with internal customers, especially data center operations engineers, to gather feedback and improve our systems quickly We work with teams across AWS to deliver solutions that uphold high standards for safety, security, and scalability We contribute to a diverse, inclusive environment where we take ideas from concept through completion Technologies: AWS C# Cloud Embedded Hardware Support Java Network Perl Security DevOps More: We are AWS Infrastructure Services, responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure that keeps the cloud running.
