Senior Staff Software Engineer, Backend

📋 Description Collaborate with Product to prioritise customer-focused work. Design and own backend services and APIs for Harvey's apps. Model and manage data in PostgreSQL for low-latency UX. Build secure, multi-tenant, permissions-aware systems. Implement backend features using LLMs and agentic tools. Collaborate with frontend, product, and design to ship features end-to-end. 🎯 Requirements 15+ years of backend engineering experience in production web apps or SaaS. Proven SaaS growth by leveraging PWA technologies. Track record of shipping intuitive products with strong attention to detail. Strong Python skills with FastAPI or Flask. Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL relational databases. API design, auth, background jobs, and robust error handling. Experience with cloud providers: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
