Senior SQL Server Data Analyst

Salary: $83,200 - 93,600 per year Requirements: Advanced proficiency in SQL Server T-SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and performance tuning. Strong experience developing SSRS RDL reports, including parameters and data sources. Familiarity with Visual Studio and TFS source control, branching, and collaborative development. Ability to analyze complex data relationships and business logic, with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. At least 5 years of experience in SQL Server development and reporting. Demonstrated experience developing complex stored procedures and SSRS reports, with a strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with technical and business stakeholders. Preferred: Experience with healthcare or insurance data systems, knowledge of ETL and data warehousing, and understanding of database design and normalization. Responsibilities: Design, develop, and optimize stored procedures and T-SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting. Create and maintain ad hoc scripts for analysis, troubleshooting, and special reporting requests. Implement data validation, quality assurance, profiling, and cleansing procedures. Improve query performance using indexing strategies and execution plan analysis. Develop and maintain SSRS RDL reports, interactive dashboards, visualizations, parameterized reports, and drill-through or nested report structures. Configure report parameters, datasets, and data sources; optimize report performance and manage deployments. Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and business insights, translating business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions. Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights. Document data models, procedures, reports, and developed solutions. Manage source code in Visual Studio with TFS, participate in code reviews, and follow development standards.
