Senior Software Engineer

Salary: $100000 - 137000 per year Requirements: We require a bachelors degree and 4 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or a high school diploma/GED with 8 years of relevant experience. We need at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud engineering and architecture. We expect experience designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications on AWS. We require strong expertise with AWS Lambda, Amazon ECS, AWS Step Functions, Amazon SQS/SNS, Amazon S3, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon RDS, AWS IAM/KMS, and AWS Transfer Family. We look for experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code practices. We need experience building event-driven, microservices, and serverless architectures. We require strong development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and/or Node.js. We expect experience with Docker and OpenShift. We need experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment approaches. We look for the ability to deliver highly available, fault-tolerant, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions. We require proven experience leading development teams and influencing technical architecture decisions. We value excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate. Preferred: Experience with payment processing, ACH, wire transfers, real-time payments, card processing, or other money movement platforms. Preferred: Experience with financial system integrations and regulatory reporting solutions. Preferred: Experience with Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, and enterprise observability platforms. Preferred: Experience leading cloud modernization and application transformation initiatives. Preferred: Experience in regulated financial services environments. Responsibilities: We design, develop, integrate, and support cloud-native solutions across payments, money movement, and information reporting platforms. We translate business needs into scalable, secure, and reliable technical solutions. We take part in technical design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and production support. We collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders. We build applications using modern AWS services and development frameworks. We contribute to critical payment and financial solutions while strengthening our cloud-native engineering capabilities.
