Senior Software Developer, Data Security

Salary: $101,800 - 101,800 per year Requirements: At least 8 years of software development experience, ideally in backend development, automation, or data security. Strong experience with Python and PowerShell; knowledge of Power Automate and basic C#. Experience with or knowledge of several of Java, JavaScript, and SQL, including strong SQL skills and the ability to analyze and manipulate data. Knowledge of AWS services such as S3 and Lambda; EC2 knowledge is preferred. Knowledge of Windows Server environments. Familiarity with software automation and delivery practices, including Terraform and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions. Experience with a data analysis or classification tool; Macy knowledge is an asset. Experience working with personal or sensitive information is an asset. Ability to collaborate with Architecture, Security, and Development teams, communicate clearly, advocate for a position, and influence technical decisions. Strong analytical skills, autonomy, initiative, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and improve scripts and software components for managing personal and sensitive data. Manage incoming and outgoing data flows in a secure data room, particularly in a Citrix environment. Analyze requirements, identify technical issues, and recommend suitable solutions. Turn functional and technical requirements into detailed specifications and software components. Design, develop, test, debug, and document reliable, maintainable solutions. Focus mainly on maintenance while contributing to new initiatives, including an internal data analysis tool and a new user interface for backend services. Work with Architecture and Security teams to validate solutions and meet data protection requirements. Serve as a technical contact for architecture, code, and script-related questions. Review designs and code for quality, security, and compliance with established standards. Create unit, integration, and regression tests. Improve CI/CD practices and automate development and deployment activities. Organize and support production releases. Provide Level 1 support and maintenance, and resolve complex issues. Explain the technical and functional aspects of solutions to colleagues and stakeholders.
