Senior Reliability Engineer with DevOps experience

Salary: $94000 - 230000 per year Requirements: Bachelors degree in engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related technical discipline. Over 5 years of experience performing systems reliability (RAM) engineering in developing, designing, or evaluating complex weapon systems. Proficient in developing and implementing reliability strategies, such as FMEA, FMECA, Reliability Block Diagrams, Fault Tree Analysis, and Probabilistic Risk Assessment to manage risk and guide program decisions across all stages from concept to sustainment. Knowledgeable in formulating and allocating RAM requirements based on mission needs and user requirements. Understanding of RAM management strategies that evolve during the different phases of DoD acquisition. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills along with strong critical thinking abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and lead multidisciplinary teams, including interactions with industry and government stakeholders. Willingness to travel occasionally, including visits to sponsor offices and contractor sites, along with possible travel to military bases nationwide. Active Secret security clearance with eligibility for Top Secret clearance, including U.S. citizenship requirements. Responsibilities: Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) and thought leadership on reliability and resilience across various strategic deterrent systems. Participate as a reliability SME in diverse projects, studies, and technical working groups focusing on requirements analysis, concept development, risk assessments, test planning, and system evaluations. Develop reliability methodologies and analyze strategic weapon system capabilities to aid in formulating future weapon system requirements. Lead and coordinate research, studies, and analyses regarding the performance of current and future weapons systems, providing data and recommendations to program sponsors. Present findings and proposed solutions to sponsors and contractors while creating comprehensive reports detailing concept definitions, requirements, analysis results, and technical advice. Identify potential risks for project and program leaders, recommending cost-effective mitigation strategies to fulfill program objectives.
