About the role

Analyze and reverse engineer software and hardware to identify security vulnerabilities.

Salary: $119000 - 292000 per year Requirements: Hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline Possess a minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience in reverse engineering or developing offensive cyber capabilities Have a solid understanding of operating system fundamentals, internals, exploitation techniques, and mitigations Enjoy programming in low-level languages, such as assembly or C/C++ Experience using software or hardware debuggers for troubleshooting complex issues Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills Able to obtain a Secret level security clearance by your start date and eventually qualify for a TS/SCI level clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for classified information access. Responsibilities: Analyze and reverse engineer software, firmware, and hardware to identify potential security vulnerabilities Collaborate with teams to modify device firmware and software for enhanced performance or alternative communication methods Operationalize proof-of-concept code through comprehensive testing, documentation, and integration with sponsor systems Suggest promising ideas for both internal and external funding initiatives Share knowledge and contribute to team discussions by presenting ideas in papers and presentations to government stakeholders and senior management.
