Senior Power BI Developer

Salary: $58000 - 96000 per year Requirements: We need strong hands-on expertise in Power BI dashboard development. We require solid experience with Power BI Report Builder and paginated report creation. We are looking for deep knowledge of Power Query and Power Pivot. We need advanced DAX development, including tuning and optimization. We require excellent SQL programming skills and experience with SQL Server or similar relational databases. We expect a strong background in data warehousing, business intelligence, and reporting systems. We need familiarity with OLAP, multidimensional data modeling, and relational database design. We require experience with query performance tuning and optimization. We are looking for hands-on experience with Databricks. We need experience gathering business requirements and supporting full SDLC delivery. We expect strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills. We require experience in Financial Services. We strongly prefer knowledge of Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives. Preferred qualifications include Power BI Data Flows, PBRS, PowerOn, Snowflake, enterprise-scale analytics platforms, and Agile delivery experience. Responsibilities: We design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and ad hoc reporting solutions. We partner with business users and stakeholders to gather and analyze reporting requirements. We build scalable data models using Power Query and Power Pivot. We create and optimize complex DAX calculations and measures. We develop paginated reports with Power BI Report Builder. We write, tune, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries against SQL Server or other relational databases. We support enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence reporting solutions. We work with Databricks to integrate and analyze large datasets. We assess reporting needs and recommend the most effective BI approach. We manage report development across the full SDLC. We troubleshoot reporting issues and deliver timely fixes. We prioritize multiple assignments while maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced environment.
