Senior PMO – Core Banking Transformation

About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior PMO – Core Banking Transformation professional to support a large-scale financial services transformation program. The role will provide project governance, portfolio oversight, planning, reporting, stakeholder management, and execution support across multiple workstreams. The successful candidate will help establish the foundation for the successful execution of the transformation program while ensuring alignment with strategic, regulatory, financial, and operational objectives. This is a senior-level role requiring strong Core Banking / Corporate Banking domain expertise, financial acumen, executive stakeholder management, and experience working across complex transformation programs involving business teams, technology teams, vendors, and clients. Key responsibilities Support the planning and execution of pre-study and transformation activities across multiple workstreams Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, dashboards, milestone trackers, and status reports Establish and maintain project governance, standards, processes, and reporting frameworks Monitor overall project progress against scope, schedule, budget, milestones, and deliverables Track and manage risks, issues, dependencies, actions, and decisions across workstreams Facilitate project meetings, workshops, governance forums, and steering committee sessions Prepare executive-level presentations, dashboards, and management reports Coordinate closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Architects, technology teams, vendors, and client stakeholders Ensure project scope, requirements, decisions, assumptions, and key deliverables are properly documented Support resource planning, capacity management, financial tracking, and budget forecasting About you Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Project Management, Finance, or a related field 10+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, Program Management, or Transformation Management Strong, hands-on experience leading or supporting Core Banking or Financial Services transformation programs Proven experience working as a Senior PM, PMO Lead, Program Manager, or Transformation PMO on large-scale initiatives In-depth understanding of Corporate Banking / Financial Services, particularly Lending, Trade Finance, CASA (Current Account / Savings Account), and Payments Strong understanding of project governance and delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid approaches Proven experience managing complex projects involving multiple workstreams, teams, vendors, and stakeholders Strong experience in executive and CxO-level stakeholder management Excellent understanding of project planning, governance, reporting, risk management, financial tracking, and dependency management Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint
