Salary: $114,400 - 124,800 per year Requirements: 12+ years of enterprise networking experience, including substantial work with Network Services and LAN/WAN environments. Strong hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure. CCIE certification required; Infoblox DDI Professional (DDIP) certification preferred. Strong knowledge of DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (IPAM), enterprise LAN/WAN/SD-WAN architecture, routing and switching, BGP and OSPF, IPv4/IPv6, network resiliency and high availability, and network security principles. Experience developing or using network standards and design documentation. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across Architecture and Engineering teams. Preferred: experience with enterprise DDI platforms such as Infoblox; developing Network Services HLDs and LLDs; creating and maintaining golden configurations; and Cisco enterprise networking technologies. Preferred: experience with SD-WAN, network automation and infrastructure-as-code concepts, network monitoring and observability, cloud and hybrid network architectures, and large global enterprise environments. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain enterprise architecture, reference designs, standards, patterns, and implementation guidelines for DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and related Network Services. Design scalable, resilient, and secure Network Services solutions for a global enterprise, including standards for address allocation, name resolution, and service resiliency. Evaluate Network Services technologies and architectures for scalability, security, resilience, and operational effectiveness; contribute to technology roadmaps and lifecycle planning. Partner with Engineering and platform teams to ensure architectures are practical and supportable. Develop high-level designs for LAN, WAN, routing, switching, and related technologies, applying LAN/WAN expertise to Network Services integrations. Participate in LAN/WAN technology evaluations, proofs of concept, and architecture assessments; contribute to network architecture standards and reference designs. Create and maintain LLD templates, golden configurations, and configuration standards for Network Services and assigned LAN/WAN technologies. Translate approved architectures into repeatable engineering solutions, validate and improve standards with Network Engineering, and develop enterprise implementation patterns. Review implementations for compliance with approved standards, reference architectures, configurations, HLDs, and LLDs; identify deviations and help resolve or document exceptions. Provide technical guidance when implementation requires interpretation of architecture standards and establish feedback loops to improve standards and practices. Own assigned Network Services and LAN/WAN architecture initiatives and deliverables; review engineering designs and provide architectural guidance. Mentor network engineers, share technical knowledge, create Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and maintain architecture documentation.
