Senior Network Analyst

Salary: $101,800 - 101,800 per year Requirements: Degree or diploma in networking or technology. At least 5 years of experience in an IP-based environment. Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, LAN/WAN, data center infrastructure, and connectivity. Good understanding of TCP/IP, particularly IP packet routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and MPLS. Intermediate knowledge of network administration, architecture, and engineering in mission-critical environments. Candidates located in Quebec must be bilingual, as the role involves regular interaction with English-speaking colleagues across Canada. Canadian work experience is not required, but candidates must be eligible to work in Canada from their anticipated start date and maintain that eligibility throughout employment. We do not provide immigration-related sponsorship or support. Responsibilities: Evolve, support, and govern our global network and its security. Advance the performance and stability of our infrastructure and related components, with a strong focus on automation. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation of our network infrastructure. Coordinate with vendors to resolve technical issues involving network equipment and software, and assess and address equipment vulnerabilities using vendor-recommended solutions. Deliver high-quality service to internal and external customers in keeping with our values. Implement and support LAN, WAN, switching and routing, load balancing, and data center infrastructure, including Cisco ACI and Netscaler load balancers. Design network engineering patterns to meet our service-level requirements. Write and review change requests as part of our change management process. Monitor system performance and implement optimizations. Contribute to documentation, including network diagrams and staff and vendor contacts, and use monitoring, resource, and inventory management tools. Work with managers to develop standards aligned with company guidelines and monitor compliance with those standards. Help resolve escalated issues and participate in problem management activities. Take part in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7/365 coverage for critical core and customer infrastructure; overtime may be required during emergencies.
