Senior IT Architect – Adobe & Design Systems

Salary: $129000 - 258000 per year Requirements: We require 10+ years of IT experience with a strong emphasis on application and solution architecture. We need proven expertise with Adobe Experience Cloud, with AEM required and Analytics, Target, and Campaign preferred. We look for deep knowledge of design systems and component-based architecture. We require hands-on AEM experience, including AEM as a Cloud Service. We expect practical experience across digital marketing platforms, martech strategy, data and customer 360, and integrations and APIs. We require solid capability in API design, microservices, and integration architecture. We value familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or similar. We need strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across engineering, UX, and business partners. We require excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities. Preferred: experience with cloud platforms. Preferred: Adobe certifications, especially in AEM and Experience Cloud. Preferred: experience with headless CMS and composable architectures. Preferred: familiarity with design system tools such as Storybook. Preferred: integration experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or Veeva. Preferred: experience in Agile and DevOps environments. Responsibilities: We design end-to-end application and solution architectures aligned with business and digital experience needs. We lead architecture and implementation for Adobe Experience Cloud platforms, with AEM as a core focus. We define and deliver design systems architecture, including reusable UI components, design tokens, and front-end frameworks. We architect component-based and headless solutions, integrating AEM with modern front-end technologies such as React. We establish scalable integration patterns using APIs, microservices, and event-driven approaches. We partner closely with product, UX, and engineering teams to move solutions from concept to implementation. We provide technical leadership and hands-on support to development teams through architecture reviews and mentoring. We ensure our solutions meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability requirements. We drive adoption of modern development practices, including cloud-native design and DevOps principles. We define end-to-end architecture for digital marketing platforms. We design scalable, secure, and high-performing martech ecosystems. We create reference architectures and integration patterns.
